In Time: The Light

Whispers in the dark......Scheming in the night.......Shadows close in.....Light.........fades........away.

Evil presses in from every side,
Good is crushed and trampled upon.
Forces of Darkness battle and prevail.

To where shall we go?
To whom shall we appeal?

Darkness envelopes all,
Where is the light?
Betrayal breaks bonds,
Whom can be trusted?

But in this darkness I have hope.
For I know The Light will come.
He will come in all His radiance,
Causing the darkness to flee.

The forces of darkness prevail for a time.
For a time they prevail in the night season.
But in His time The Light will come and wipe them out.
For Joy comes in the morning.

Forces of darkness fight on........the Children of Light falter......darkness prevails........in desperation the Children of Light shout.....they shout for their Commander......nothing......suddenly a glimmer appears.....a star rises in the east....it grows brighter and brighter.....the Forces of Darkness cower....they shrink away at the every growing light....The Light envelopes the darkness.....the darkness flees......The Light has come....In His perfect time He has come...........A New Day has Dawned.
