Choosing, Yet Chosen

Why do you choose to be dispirited, oh lost and lonely soul ?
Why do you choose groan and labor under this heavy burden?

This burden of sorrow, of grief, of pain.
This burden of sin and iniquity.

How long will you choose to remain in this pit?
How long will you choose to partake of this desolate shadowland.

Behold, He, The One and Only One, is calling out.
Behold, He sends out His summons to you.

Arise and answer the call.
Arise and answer His summons.

Choose to no longer be a prisoner of this dry and desolate place.
Choose to throw off the shackles of sin and run free in His pasture.

Choose to follow Him this day....For He has chosen you.

"You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you."
~John 15:16
